Temporary Diversion License (TDL) and Term Licensing
Within Alberta, diversion of freshwater in quantities greater than 3,650 m³ requires an active Temporary Diversion Licence (TDL) or Term Licence. Prior to an approval, a detailed report and application must be completed and reviewed by a registered professional geoscientist (P.Geo.). Connate Water is well versed in the preparation and submission of TDLs or Term Licence Applications within Western Canada.
